CHRISTMAS IN NEW SOUTH WALES.
DECREASE IN RAILWAY AND POSTAL BUSINESS.
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received December 30, 12.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, December 29. The Christmas traffic on the New South Wales railways has shown a falling off of £31,433, by comparison with 1929. The Postal Department reports a slump in Christmas mail business by 20 per cent.
