MUSSOLINI AGAIN.
REVISION OF TREATIES DEMANDED. United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright (Received December 30, 1.45 p.m.) LONDON, December 29. The Berlin correspondent of the “Times” states that a message from Signor Mussolini appeared on Christmas Day in the Nationalist “Tag,” alongside a message from General Hughenberg, Nationalist leader of Germany, who is chief proprietor of this paper. Signor Mussolini recalled his references to “avoiding war, by revising Treaties.” He stated that Italy demanded a revision, not from national egotism, but principally for reasons of justice and morality, which alone could form the basis of lasting peace. General Hughenberg says that Signor Mussolini’s statement brings Italy from the ring of powers allied against Germany in the war.
