The Progress arrived in port from Oamaru last evening. She will load cargo to-day for Wellington, Wanganui and New Plymouth, and is expected to sail this evening for Wellington direct. The Waipiata is due here on January 7th. The Wainui is to load cargo at Dunedin on January 6th, and at Timaru on January Bth, for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne. Overseas. The Narbada left Calcutta on December 2nd for Penang, Singapore and Samarang, to complete loading for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Timaru. She is due here on January 15th. The Remuera completed loading frozen meat, wool and general cargo for London yesterday, and sailed from Timaru on the evening for Wellington.
