PERSONAL. Major R. E. Barker and Miss Barker, Quetta, England, and Mr Herbert Barker, Australia, are the guests of Mr and Mrs A. L. Barker, "Wainui,” Winchester. Mr and Mrs Wyndham Barker, Scotland, are expected to arrive in Winchester shortly. Mr E. Piper, Oamaru, is staying at the Wolseley Hotel, Winchester. Mr R. Pinder and Miss H. Louden, Dunedin, are staying with their sister, Miss J. Louden, Winchester. Mr and Mrs H. Washington, Mayfield, are the guests of Mr and Mrs J. H. Anderson, Winchester. Mr and Mre E. Priddle, Sydney, are staying with Mr and Mrs A. Priddle, Belfleld. Mr J. Connolly, Seadown, is spending the Christmas and New Year holidays at Belfleld. Mr and Mrs F. W. Salmon and family are spending the holidays in camp at the Temuka river, near the Old Mill. Mr and Mrs N. South returned on Sunday from a visit to Mosgiel.
