AUGSBURG’S FAMOUS FOUNTAIN.
The silver model of the “Augustus Fountain,” one of the Rathaus treasures, has been sent to New York, where it can be seen in the office of the Amerop Travel Service. It is exhibited in connection with the 400th anniversary of the Augsburg Confesburg Confession which is being observed in Augsburg from June 15 to September 30. The model was originally intended as a wedding present for King Ludwig 11., of Bavaria, but the wedding never took place.
