BRITAIN AND IRAQ.
FINANCIAL AGREEMENT. British Official Wireless RUGBY, August 21. Notes were exchanged in London on August 19 between Sir Francis Humphreys, High Commissioner tor Iraq, and Muri Pasha, Prime Minister of Iraq, embodying an agreement on financial questions. The Notes will be published in due course in an annex to the Treaty of Alliance signed at Bagdad on June 30. It was provided that all outstanding financial questions, such as those relating to the Iraq railways and the port of Basra, should form the subject of such a separate agreement to be deemed an integral part of the Treaty, and to be ratified at the same time.
