FAMOUS WAR SPY.
REPORTED TO BE ALIVE. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received August 21, 11.40 p.m.) LONDON, August 20. A mysterious message from London that Alexander Szek, the famous Allied war-time spy is still alive, resulted in his father leaving post haste from New York to search for him. It was Alexander who obtained the German code and deciphered the momentous instruction for the unrestricted submarine campaign, which brought America into the war. He disappeared two days after the disclosure.
