Mr F. L. Wooles. Wind moderate to fresh south to east; weather cloudy, with an occasional scattered shower likely. Dominion Meteorologist. An anti-cyclone is covering New Zealand, but a slight depression of the westerly type is crossing the South Tasman Sea. Expect winds variable with moderate south-west to northwest prevailing. Seas smooth or moderate. Fine weather is to be expected in most districts, but scattered showers are still likely, however, in western districts from Taranaki southwards. Temperatures mild.
