NATIONALIST LEADERS ARRESTED.
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received August 3, 5.5 p.m.) DELHI, August 2. Pandit Madan Patel and three other prominent Nationalists, were arrested at Bombay on Saturday, following an amazing nightlong deadlock between ten thousand processionists and the police.
The demonstration was organised in honour of Tilak, one of the best known Nationalists, in defiance of police orders. Over one hundred were injured in the clash between a mob of three hundred processionists and the police, who made a baton charge.
