GARDEN HATS
AND CUSHIONS TO MATCH. Broad-brimmed hats are enjoying such a vogue this season that it is nor surprising to find them at their most picturesque in the hats intended for garden and river wear, says a Londoner. The other day I saw a delightful example in stitched cretonne, the background of a misty blue, with a derign in soft pinks and mauves. But that is not all the story. The hat matched exactly the parasol and the cushion that accompanied it. Unlike most garden cushions, this one was made on the bolster principle, though not too large for practical ev ryday use, and, above all. not too large to be easily carried from the house to the lawn.
