Wind moderate to strong, south to southeast; weather cold and changeable, with an occasional rain or sleet shower likely.
Dominion Meteorologist i Pressure is still high over the Tamilian Sea And eastern Australia, but still low to the east of New Zealand. A slight secondary depression is passings- also fix the south. Expect winds decreasing -temporarily and veering to west in parts of the South Island, but again freshening from the south tomorrow; gale force still probable at I times in exposed positions. Seas still rough generally. Weather still cold, squally and changeable, with showers at times in most districts. Snow and hail showers in parts of the eastern , districts, and on the high country.
