CHANGEABLE WEATHER. Almost perfect weather was experienced yesterday morning. Early yesterday afternoon it became overcast and bitterly cold, but toward evening conditions improved considerably. Nine degrees of frost were recorded yesterday morning. METHODIST AT HOME. Under the auspices of the Geraldine Methodist Women’s Auxiliary, a successful at home was held in the Methodist Hall. Mrs H. Neutze (president) occupied the chair. There was a good attendance and Mrs B. H. Low., M.A., of Timaru, gave an interesting address on the work of the auxiliary. The following took part in the programme : Solos by Mrs Borrcll, Miss Moncur and Mr Bruce Logan; a playreading by Miss I. Henry. Mr R. Neutze and Master Keith Wallach; an instrumental duet by Misses Dean and Henry; an elocutionary item by Miss Neutze; a playette by the Misses Coomber and Joy Pauling. Afterncon tea was dispensed.
