HEAVY FROSTS
WELLINGTON REGISTRATIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 23. An unusual feature of the winter here this year is the prevalence of stiff frosts, which are the exception rather than the rule in Wellington. The winter has been mild so far, but it is many a year since so many frosts were recorded. Last night was one of the heaviest, the thermometer being 8 to 10 degrees below freezing point.
