LORRY-DRIVER KILLED. By Telegraph—Press Association. OTAKI, July 22. Jack Stewart. who was driving a lorry, was crashed into by the New Plymouth train to-day, and died on the way to hospital. He leaves a wife and child. GUN ACCIDENT. By Telegraph—Pres* Association HAWERA, July 22. As a result of a shotgun exploding when he was climbing through a fence at Manaia yesterday, a young man, Percy J. Sutton, has been sent to hospital with his right hand and arm shattered.
