SEIZURE OF MACE.
MR MACDONALD’S PROPOSAL. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, July 21. In the House of Commons. Mr Macdonald, relating to the Mace incident, said he had noticed Mr Beckett had increased the offence by subsequent Press interviews. Nevertheless, he thought it would best suit the dignity of the House to leave the incident without further reference. The House might well expect Mr Beckett to apologise.
