COMPANIES’ DECISION TO PAY. By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, July 22. Insurance companies handling thi*J party motor risks decided to pay compensation in the case of a man who was killed on Papanui Road by an unknown motorist eighteen months ago. The companies handling this class of business held a meeting, and after discussing the situation, avoided to pay the money out of a pool created by the companies handling these risks.
