KOLAPORE CUP.
WON BY GREAT BRITAIN. British Official Wireless (Received July 16. 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, July 16. At Bisley rifle meeting, Great Britain won the Kolapore Cup from Canada by seven points, after an exciting match. The scores were:— Great Britain 1122 Canada Hls Rhodesia HU India 1093 Jersey was fifth and Guernsey sixth. This is the fifty-fifth contest for the Cup. Britain has now won it 35 times. Canada (the only other country to enter every year) has now woa the cup 13 times. The junior Kolapore Imperial trophy was won by a team representing Falkland Islands, the members of w'hich travelled 8000 miles to compete. They won with 516 points more than Nigeria. Gold Coast was third, Straits Settlements fourth, Soudan fifth, Trinidad (holders) sixth, Federated Malay States seventh.
