CLAIMS AGAINST SOVIET.
On Verge Of Negotiations. BRITISH REPRESENTATIVES APPOINTED. British Official Wireless RUGBY, July 13. The names of those who have consented to serve on the joint committee to negotiate with representatives of the Soviet on claims and counterclaims were announced in the House of Commons by the Foreign Secretary, Mr Arthur Henderson, as follows: Lord Goshen, formerly Governor of Madras, and British Ambassador at Berlin in 1914. Sir John Dewrance, chairman of the Babcock and Wilcox engineering company. Mr C. T. Cramp, Industrial General Secretary of the National Union of Railwaymen. Sir William Max-Muller, recently Minister to Poland. Sir Frederick Leith Ross, representing the Treasury. • Arrangements are being made for all interests immediately concerned to be represented on the following advisory sub-committees: Sub-committee on claims, in respect of property and concessions nationalised by the Soviet Government; sub-committee on the claims of bondholders; sub-committee on private debts and claims other than those dealt with by the above subcommittees. There will be a fourth sub-commit-tee dealing with inter-Govemmental debt. This committee, on the British i side, will consist exclusively of members of His Majesty’s Treasury. Expert members of the Soviet delegation are Professors Preobrazhensky, Dolgov and Chlenov, and Messrs Arkus and Gourevitch.
