RUGBY CRAZY
QUEUE WAITING IN RAIN. BOOKING FOR THIRD TEST. By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND. July 13. Although it was advertised that the booking plan for the grand stand at Eden Park f6r the third Rugby test would be opened to-morrow, all seats have now gone. A queue started to form yesterday, thei crowd growing in the evening, by people who were prepared to spend two nights and a day in the queue. When Mr J. H. Watts, who is in charge of the booking, visited his office at midnight last night, he found a crowd waiting in heavy rain. Mr Watts says he could not leave people in the rain, so he opened his office and issued chits which will be redeemed tomorrow. There were enough people to take all the seats available, so those that gathered to-day found a notice to say that all seats had gone, although the plan was not to open till to-morrow. Much indignation was expressed, but Mr Watts points out that the position would have been the same if he waited till to-morrow. In other words, there were enough people gathered at midnight last night to take all the seats available. These seats cost £l.
