NEW LIFE BOATS.
CHRISTENED BY PRINCE OF WALES. British Official Wireless RUGBY, July 10. The Prince of Wales, at Dover christened the world's largest and fastest motor lifeboat, naming the vessel Sir William Hilary, after the founder of the lifeboat institution, who during his life was concerned in saving 305 lives. The president and secretary of the French Lifeboat Society attended the function. The Prince, in his speech, said the boat stationed at England's gateway to the Continent was to guard against casualties.
