THE WEATHER.
Mr F. L. Wooles. Wind moderate to strong easterly to southerly; weather unsettled with further rain, and snow in Mackenzie Country. Low temperatures continue. Dominion Meteorologist. There is little , variation of pressure over New Zealand, but a rather deep depression is located hear Tasmania. Expect winds variable, with light to moderate easterly to northerly prevailing, and later freshening, Seas smooth to moderate. Weather fair to cloudy for the’ most part, but some showers on the West Coast of the South Island, and at isolated places elsewhere. Fog In. places.
