SERIES OF ACCIDENTS ON THE HUTT ROAD ON RECENT FROSTY MORNING. Owing to heavy frost and fog, the Hutt road was like glass on Wednesday morning and a number of cars came to grief during the early rush to the city. The photographs show some of the cars affected. In the butcher’s van on the bottom right was a passenger, Mr Lewis, who was the only person seriously injured. On the bottom left helpers are seen righting a meat lorry.
