MAIL NOTICES.

Subject to any necessary alteration, mails will close at the Chief Post Office, Timaru, as under:— Registered letteif mails close one hour, and newspapers and parcel mails close 45 minutes earlier than ordinary letter mails. Late fee letters for “Express Mails” will close 15 minutes after the closing of the mails at the Chief Post Office, Timaru. Only parcels prepaid at “Express Transit Rate” are forwarded by express trains. For Northern Offices of New Zealand: Daily, 12.30 p.m. and 3.15 p.m. For Ashburton, Christchurch, North Canterbury, and Westland: Daily, 6 a.m., 12.30 p.m., and 3.15 p.m. For Christchurch and all Intermediate Offices: Daily, 5 a.m., 12.30 p.m , and 3.15 p.m. For Temuka and Geraldine: Daily, 5 a.m., 12.30 p.m., and 3.1 a p.m. For Winchester, Orari, Rangitata, Hinds: Daily, 6 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. For Waimate: Daily, 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. For Oamaru and all Intermediate Offices: Daily, 6 a.m. and 10.45 a.m. For Invercargill and all Southern Offices: Daily, 10.45 a.m. and 2.45 p.m. For Fairlie, Pleasant Point, etc.: Daily, 6 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. For Fairlie and Hermitage: Tuesday.
