Twenty-seven are reported drowne and thousands homeless in the Yam£f gata Ken, as the result of excessive rains causing the rivers to rise 20ft. There is extensive flooding; railways have been interrupted and bridges and embankments destroyed. There has been tremendous damage to crops.
