MINIATURE RIFLES.
TIMARU CLUB. The second weekly shoot was held on the usual evenings, Monday and Thursday, with a good attendance of members each evening. The shooting showed a marked improvement over the previous week. The best scores off the rifle were:— R. Rodgers 79, A. Agnew 79, W. Bradshaw 77, H. Barber 77, J. Thomas 77, J. Finch 76, J. Stevenson 76, C. Blackwood 76, H. Ede 76, W. Skelton 76, A. England 75, H. Duncan 75, W. Duncan 75, J. Roddick 75. The shoot-off for the Carmichael Button was won by J. Thomas, and for the second shoot, R. Rodgers and A. Agnew tied, and will shoot off. The second stage of Mr P. Greenfield’s trophy was won by A. E. Cowles. This week will be the start of ' the Club championship and weekly challenge medal.
