HORSES SOLD FOR SYDNEY. (Special to the "Herald.”) CHRISTCHURCH, April 28. Though the Archery gelding Amor failed to distinguish himself on the Sydney turf, he appears to have made a good impression. His owner, Mr F. Williamson, received a cable offering him a good price, and he has accepted it. The three-year-old filly Netley, by Martian-Sweet Charity, owned by Mr Dalgety, which was passed in at Mr C. G. Dalgety’s sale, has been disposed of privately for 600 guineas, and goes to Sydney.
