EMPIRE WOOL POOL.
MAY DO MUCH HARM. (United Press Association—By Electrio "'el egraph—CoDyrlgh t.) ADELAIDE, April 15. Mr W. J. Young, managing director of Messrs Elder, Smith and Company, foresees possibilities of harm in the Empire wool pool. He fears that the suggestion may create hostility among other nations at present using Australian wool. RECEPTION OF PROPOSAL. NOT FAVOURED BY BRADFORD. (United Press Association- By 'Uecttle Tel egrw-ph—Copy r leht.) Received April 15, 11.20 p.m. LONDON, April 15.
Bradford is keenly following the Federal Council of Australian graziers and control of wool and marketing proposal. They would in nowise support a control scheme suggestive of the B.A.W.R.A. days, but would be more ready to work along the lines suggestive by Mr W. J. Young of Adelaide, for the development of friendly relations with the buyers throughout the world, in the formation of an international committee of growers and buyers for the stabilisation of the market on lines acceptable to both sides.
