F. L. Woolcs. Wind variable, strong south to south-east ruling; weather changeable, cold at times, with an occasional shower likely. Dominion Meteorologist. Yesterday’s cyclone has passed to the eastwards, but another depression is advancing from the Southern Tasman Sea, and is likely to cross the South Island to-night. Epect winds moderate to strong westerly to south-westerly, but south-westerlies becoming general during to-morrow. Seas rough on the West Coast and south of Castlepoint; moderate north of Castlepoint. Weather cool and changeable, with showers in most districts; heavy at places on the West Coast.
