The Kaponga is scheduled to arrive at Timaru from Dunedin to-morrow, to load general cargo for Wellington, Nelson. New Plymouth and Westport. To discharge general American cargo, the City of Lincoln is expected at this port on Friday, from Lyttelton. It is thought the vessel will proceed to Dunedin the same day, in continuation of her loading programme. The Gale is also due to arrive at Timaru on Friday, to load for Wellington. Picton and Wanganui. The Canadian Transporter, which arrived at Auckland on Monday from Halifax, also discharges cargo at Wellington. Lyttelton. Timaru and Dunedin. She is due here on April 17. The Commonwealth and pominion Line steamer Port Napier arrived at Dunedin on Monday from northern ports, to discharge general merchandise from New York. The vessel left Swansea on February 6 for New York in ballast, and experienced boisterous weather for eleven days in the Atlantic. She reached New York on February 17, and sailed for New Zealand on February 27 She bunkered at Norfolk. Virginia, on February 38, and resumed her voyage early the following morning. Colon was reached on March 7. and Balboa was cleared the following day. Fine weather was experienced in the Pacific, and the speed averaged from Balboa to Auckland was 12.64 knots. The vessel is du# at Timaru on April 17. and should leave Port Chalmers for London bn May 2. The Canadian Conqueror left Halifax on March 28. She is due at Auckland about May 7. and at Timaru about May 20. This vessel is to be followed by the Canadian Highlander, which leaves Halifax on April 25.
