An important change in the sequence of play on the Kirk-Windeyer Cup in Christchurch was announced by the New Zealand Golf Council this evening. It has been decided that New Zealand will play Victoria, and the winning team will meet New South Wales. The previous arrangement was that New South Wales and Victoria should meet, to decide which team should play New Zealand. NEW SOUTH WALES TEAM ARRIVES. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 8. The New South Wales golf team which will play Victoria at Shirley links, Christchurch, next week, for the honour of playing New Zealand for the Kirk-Windeyer Cup, on April 16 and 17, arrived from Sydney by the Maunganui to-day. Dr. Sydney P. Jones, captain and manager, said the team was representative of the younger school of golf in Sydney, their ages ranging from 21 to 32, not r including himself. Other members' are Dr. R. K. Lee-Brown, W. Dobson, S. H. Keane, and H. W. Hattersley. Dr. Jones said he would not play unless the others did not strike form.
