OBITUARY.
MR W. P. HARDING. (United Press Association—By Electrlt Telegraph—Copyright.) NEW YORK, April 7. A report from Boston states that William P. Harding, ex-Governor of the Federal Reserve Board, died today from heart disease.
[Mr Harding was born in 1864. and was educated at the University of Alabama, where he had a distinguished scholastic career. He began his career in a private bank, and was later associated with other banks. He was a member of the Federal Reserve Board from 1914 to 1922, and was appointed governor in 1916. He was appointed governor of the Federal Reserve Bank in 1923. j
