FATAL FIRE.
.BELGROVE HOTEL. DESTROYED. By Telegraph—Pre*» Association. NELSON, April 8. The Belgrove Hotel. a fifteenroomed two-storey wooden building, owned by J. Bowers, and occupied by G. B. McDonald, was destroyed by fire soon after midnight last night. The nine occupants escaped in their night attire. One John Galvin was badly burned, and is in hospital in a critical condition. The insurances were: On the contents £650; on the building £2500. BOARDER DIES. By Tfllegrauh—Press Association. NELSON, April 8. John Galvin, who was severely burned in the Belgrove Hotel fire, succumbed to his injuries this afternoon.
