In the international soccer match, England beat Scotland by 5 goals to 2. A great Scottish invasion of London in connection with the international match at Wembly, began before lawn on Saturday. The pipes were skirling bravely in Euston in the morning, but were wailing laments in the evening, some who had entrained rendering “Lochaber No More.” Out of 90.000 spectators, no fewer than 30,000 were Scots. Nearly all were wearing paper tartan caps. Mr Ramsay Macdonald and his daughter Ishbell were among the distinguished spectators.
