Another producer to turn author is Sir Nigel Playfair. His previous book “The Story of the Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith,” was unusually entertaining and now Messrs Faber and Faber announce, under the title of “The Road to Hammersmith,” Sir Nigel’s autobiography. The work, it is said, is to be illustrated from the author’s large collection of theatrical pictures.
The original manuscript of “Eugene Aram,” by Lord Tytton, is to be sold. It consist of 966 pages, bound in three volumqs.
