THINNING HAIR
THE TEMPLE. It is at the temples that the first thinning of the hair, both on men and women, generally appears. It is also the spot where greyness is first noticed. This due to the fact that scalp massages, most important in all cases of falling hair, and often beneficial in cases of premature greyness, is seldom applied to this particular spot. To stimulate the growth of hair that is growing thin at the temples place the hands, with the fingers resting on the hair, just above the temples, keeping the thumbs resting firmly on the 6ide of the head. Massage the scalp round the temple, using the ball of the fingers. Friction briskly for about five minutes, till the scalp feels warm and glowing. Then dap amongst the roots a good tonic. Apply the tonic with a pad of cotton wool.
