FAIRHALL DEFEATS GILLESPIE. (United Press Association—By Electrle Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received April 5. 12.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 4. At Leichardt Stadium to-night, in a fifteen round bout Tommy Fairhall (9.11), welter champion, outpointed Norman Gillespie (9.6), lightweight champion in a thrilling contest, in which Gillespie received severe punishment. He, however, dropped Fairhall in the last round, but the latter rose quickly and was saved by the bell.
