EPIDEMIC OF FIRES
ANOTHER DISASTROUS OUTBREAK. (United Press Association—By Electric Telcerraph—Copyright.) (Received February 23, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, February 23. A fire at a big paint works of Major Brothers Company, Limited, Cabarita, made a spectacular blaze, frequent explosions sending showers of sparks, flaming paints and oils high in the air. Sixty firemen had a difficult task to keep the blaze from spreading to other properties. One civilian and six firemen were injured. The damage to the buildings and stock is estimated at £IOO,OOO.
