BADCOCK’S RECALL.
OTAGO INCENSED. By Telegraph—Pran« Association. DUNEDIN, February 20. With regard to the Otago Cricket Association’s refusal to extend Badcock’s leave to enable him to play in the extra test match at Auckland, it is understood that a telegram has been received from the president of the New Zealand Cricket Council (Mr D. Reese), couched in terms to which strong exception has been taken by members of the Otago Association, who, under the circumstances, had no hesitation in confirming their former resolution. The matter will probably receive further consideration at a meeting of the Association to be held on Monday night.
