PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. “Beautiful but Dumb,” to be screened at Temuka to-night, and starring Patsy Ruth Miller, tells how Mae, Janet’s fluffy blonde friend, puts her wise to male psychology. The story is an original one by John Francis Natterford, about a private secretary, so sternly efficient in clothes and conduct, that her young and handsome boss has never noticed that she is a very beautiful girl, and that she is in love with him. Mae, who sees the beginning of the drama unfold, turns mistress of deportment and costume, and Janet becomes a very different sort of person. Entertaining short features will be screened.
