SPRING MILITARY CAMPAIGN MpOTED. (United Press Association—By Filectr.’c Telegraph—Copyrlgli t.j SHANGHAI, February 18. General Yen-Hsi-Shan’s ultimatum to Nankin demanding General Chiang-Kai-shik’s retirement and forecasting an outbreak of hostilities in the near future, has not produced the excitement anticipated in Government circles. General Chiang-Kaii-Shik is taking a determined stand, and refuses to abdicate, while the country remains in a state of military unrest.
