HEAVY LOSSES IN TANGANYIKA. (United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright.) CAPETOWN, February 4. Reports from Tanganyika state that the worst floods within living memory have created an alarming position. Lake Bombo is rising rapidly, and the temporary bridge replacing the one washed away is already submerged. Goods traffic up country has been suspended for the last four weeks and consequently there is a shortage of supplies. The position must affect the Prince of Wales’ trip.
