MENACE OF HUNGRY WOLVES. (United Press Association—By Bee trie Telegraph—Copyright.) VANCOUVER, February 4. Real wolves are howling on the edge of Chicago, not counting those figurative animals who are making life miserable for 40,000 civic employees. The severe winter in northern Wisconsin a:d Michigan has driven the wolves southward, and recently the animals were tracked to within 30 miles of the city. Lewis Mills, whose live stock suffered from their forays, engaged an airplane and drove three wolves from cover and the ground posse shot two.
