AID TO MEDICAL SCIENCE. SUCCESS OF LONG-DISTANCE CONSULTATION. (United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright.) BERLIN, September 26. Wireless photography and wireless telephony were employed in a remarkable consultation between doctors in Berlin and Buenos Aires. Dr. Pavia, Argentinian, who is at present in Berlin, had a photo of a patient’s eye wirelessed to Professor Castex, a Buenos Aires specialist, to whom was telephoned an account of the symptoms. The photograph was received clearly by Professor Castex, who diagnosed the disease as a fatal case, and incurable.
The patient is unaware that a specialist 8000 miles away read his death-w r arrant.
