WEDDING

BUTT—FAGAN. A very pretty wedding was solemnised on the evening of August 14 at Bank Street Methodist Church, Timaru, when Teresa Isabel, fourth daughter of Mr and Mrs R. Fagan, Te Pirita. was married to Alexander, fourth son of Mrs and the late Henry Butt, of Kingsdown. The Rev. H. T. Peat performed the ceremony and Mr Tank presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by Mr H. Holmes, looked sweet in a dainty frock of pale pink georgette, trimmed with crepe de chine, and having an uneven hemline. Her veil was held in place by a coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried a sheaf of arum lilies. The bridesmaid, Miss Winnie Butt, wore a frock of pale blue georgette, with a head-dress of silver leaves and blue forget-me-nots. She carried a bouquet of lemon daisies. The bridegroom was supported by her brother, Mr G. Butt, as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at Kingsdown, where the bridegroom's mother received her guests wearing a frock of henna silk repp and hat to tone.
