CONFERENCE IN CHRISTCHURCH. By Telegraph—Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, August 27. Surveyors from all over New Zealand gathered In the Chamber of Commerce this morning to attend the annual meeting of the New Zealand Institute of Surveyors. Mr Preston Chambers, of Auckland, presided, and the delegates were welcomed by the Mayor (Rev. J. K. Archer). Mr Preston Chambers was re-elected president. The new council is Messrs M. C. Smith, A. H. Bogle and M. H. Miller.
