August 25. m he Rosehill races resulted:— MAIDEN HURDLES, 2 miles. Ostentation, 9.6 1 Bensbun, 9.0 2 Honest Light, 9.0 3 Ten started. The* New Zealander, Penman, 10.3, made the early running but was eased up and returned to the enclosure lame. Won by five lengths, a length and a half between second and third. Time—3min 41sec. DUNDAS HANDICAP, 7 furlongs. (First Division): Paquito (N.Z.), 8.10 1 Holdfast, 8.1 2 Paganelli (N.Z.), 9.11 .... 3 Eleven started. Paganelli and Holdfast in turn led the field to the straight entrance, where the last-named had two lengths advantage from Paganelli; then Paquito came fast from fourth position to win by threequarters of a length. Paganelli was two and a half lengths away. Time —lmin 26sec. (Second Division): Lord Eudorus, 8.7 1 Loquacious, 8.11 2 Aussie (N.Z.), 10.1 3 Ten started.
