LINDRUM-SMITH MATCH. THURSDAY’S PLAY. (United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY. August 22. Lindrum made a superb break of 2002, and again left Smith well behind. Lindrum’s visit to the table lasted 102 minutes. The scores to-night are:— Lindrum 19,953 Smith 17,251 FRIDAY’S SCORES. Lindrum’s 2002 break on Thursday night left him with a lead of about 2700. In yesterday’s session Smith made up about 600 of his leeway, but neither man made any large breaks. At the close of play last night, the positions, as broadcast by 2FC. were:— Lindrum 21,431 ' Smith 19.038 Lindrum thus commences the final day (two two-hour sessions), with an advantage of 2123 points.
