WEDDING
ROBINSON—TROTT. A queit but very pretty wedding was celebrated on August 15, at the Rugby Street Methodist Church, Christchurch, when Annie, grand-daughter of Mrs M. Trott, of Timaru, was married to Eric Henry, youngest son of Mr and Mrs G. Robinson, St. Albans, Christchurch. The service was conducted by the Rev. L. B. Neale. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr G. W. Trott, wore a frock of azure blue georgette, the dress being of uneven hemline and hand-embroidered in shades of blue, pink and gold. A posy of orange blossom was worn on the shoulder. A blue veil to tone, and a bouquet of pink and white spring flowers completed a charming toilet. The maids in attendance were Miss Joyce Grant, cousin of the bridegroom, and Miss Jessie Wetherall, friend of the bride, who wore dainty gowns of dawn georgette and satin respectively, completed by gaffl shoes, stockings and picturesque hats to tone. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr S. G. Robinson, of Timaru, and by Mr M. Trott as best man and groomsman. Relatives and intimate friends were entertained at a reception at Dixieland. Mrs M. Trott, who, with Mrs George Trott, of Wanganui, received their guests, wore a black repp coat with hat to match, while Mrs G. Trott chose a dainty frock of cherry satin, with hat to tone. Mrs G. H. Robinson, mother of the bridegroom, was tastefully dressed in a grey crepe de chene frock, with coat, and hat of bancock straw to match. When leaving on the wedding tour, by car, the bride wore an attractive frock of cinnamon brown, with coat and hat to match.
