SPEEDING UP MAILS.
AEROPLANE CO-OPERATES WITH STEAMER. (Britiih Official Wirelees.) RUGBY, August 20. It is officially stated in Dublin today, that the Irish Free State Post Office has sanctioned the experiment of transferring mails from the North German-Lloyd liner Karlsruhe, when she arrives at Galway, to an aeroplane, which will be piloted to London by Colonel Russell of the Free State Air Force. Correspondence wall be impressed with the rubber stamp bearing the words: “Experimental Air Mail. Galway to London.” No special charge will be made. The liner is expected on Monday.
