FINGER-PRINT EVIDENCE. By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, August 21. In the Supreme Court to-day, Adolphus James Curline was found guilty of indecent assault on a boy, and with attempted indecent assault. Fingerprint evidence was a large part of the Crown’s case. Some prints on a bottle at the scene of the first offence were proved to be those of Curline. The prisoner was remanded for sentence. Harold Petheram pleaded guilty to a charge of mischief in respect to damage done to a building at Woolston, and was remanded for sentence. THREE YEARS FOR THEFT. By Telegraph—rr«»* NAPIER, August 21. At the Supreme Court Francis Peter Wilkie, for theft was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment. THEFT OF BICYCLE. By Telegraph—Prees Asaoaiation. PALMERSTON N.. August 21. At the Police Court, Robert Joseph Sorensen was sentenced to fourteen days’ hard labour for the theft of a bicycle valued at £ll. The police stated that the bicycle had been taken from the passageway of ail hotel.
